WINSTON, Ore. — Wildlife Safari has welcomed a captivating new species to its park with the arrival of three male African Painted Dogs from the Oklahoma City Zoo. The nine-year-old pack members are settling into their new habitat.
Ali Shaver with Wildlife Safari said, “Their unique markings and playful energy is already winning the hearts of guests as they drive through the Lion Loop.”
Known for their strong social bonds and dynamic pack behavior, African Painted Dogs are an exciting and important addition to the park’s conservation-focused mission. Their presence allows visitors to learn more about these colorful canines and their significance in wildlife conservation.
