International students aspiring to pursue a Master’s degree in France can now apply through the Mon Master platform as the official application phase has opened. Following the general information period where details about over 8,000 Master’s study courses were presented, the application window is now open until March 24, 2025.
What is Mon Master?
The Mon Master platform is the centralized application portal for students looking to enroll in the first year of a Master’s degree at accredited French higher education institutions. The platform offers a streamlined application process, allowing students to submit their applications following a nationally determined schedule.
Who Needs to Apply via Mon Master?
Not all international students are required to apply through Mon Master. The following students must use the platform:
- Foreign students already residing in France or in an EEA country (European Union, Andorra, Switzerland, and Monaco included).
- Foreign students residing in a country NOT covered by the Études en France process.
However, students residing in a country covered by Études en France must apply through that platform instead.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply via Mon Master, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (three years of study) or be in their final year of undergraduate studies. The portal provides access to programs leading to the Diplôme National de Master (DNM) offered by accredited public and private institutions.

How Admission Works?
After submitting an application, review committees assess candidates based on academic records. If selected, students will receive either:
- An admission offer (which they must accept, defer, or decline).
- A waiting list position (depending on available seats in the program).
- A rejection notification (if the application does not meet program requirements).
Students who receive multiple offers must select only one and those who fail to secure a spot can participate in the complementary round in June-July 2025.
