This scholarship requires a “dual application” process. You must register on two different portals.

Here is the “Cheat Sheet” of documents you will need to scan and upload. Ensure all documents are in Chinese or English (or notarized translations).
- Passport Copy: Valid for at least 12 months.
- Highest Diploma: Notarized photocopy (or proof of expected graduation).
- Academic Transcripts: Notarized.
- Language Proficiency: Chinese taught: Valid HSK Report, and English taught: IELTS or TOEFL report.
- Study plan/Research Plan: Undergrads: 200+ words, Scholars: 500+ words, and Postgraduates: 1000+ words.
- Recommendation Letters:
- Postgraduates: Two letters from professors/associate professors.
- Undergrads: One letter from a high school teacher/principal.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form: (Must be less than 6 months old).
- Non-Criminal Record (Police Clearance): (Must be less than 6 months old).
- CSCA Report: Specific for Bachelor’s applicants only.
- Arts/Design Applicants: Must submit a portfolio of works.
Application Deadline
The application period for the Beijing Normal University (BNU) CSC University Program runs strictly from November 2025 to March 2026, but timing is everything. While March is the final cutoff, you should aim to submit your materials much earlier.
