Dublin City University (DCU), in collaboration with the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water, invites applications for a fully funded PhD scholarship focused on public understanding of climate change, biodiversity loss, and water quality. This DCU opportunity offers a EUR 25,000 annual stipend, coverage of EU tuition fees for four (04) years, and additional funding for research expenses, fieldwork, and conference travel.
PhD Scholarship Project Overview
The selected PhD candidate will analyze how different communities—including rural, farming, fishing, border, and coastal populations—perceive environmental issues. The project will examine social media content from individuals, organizations, and other key stakeholders, studying both textual and visual representations of environmental topics.
