Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 200 flying hours
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
Successful candidates will also be required to submit a $15,000 financial bond to ensure compliance with the airline’s operational protocols and commitment to the program.
In addition to cadet recruitment, PIA is hiring 20 experienced commercial pilots to address immediate operational needs. Interested candidates must submit applications to the HR department within 15 days of the announcement.
The airline’s previous First Officer recruitment drive attracted nearly 300 applicants.
The pilot hiring initiative is part of PIA’s broader plan to resume European and UK routes, including direct flights to London, Manchester, and Paris using Boeing 777 aircraft. The cadet pilot program is expected to support long-term operational stability and enhance flight services as the airline works to restore international connectivity.
