Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to come forward following the incident in William Street, Eston
Seven men – aged between 19 and 42 – have been arrested following a brawl in an Eston street.
Cleveland Police say it has been reported that two men were seen in possession of weapons. The force was called to an incident in William Street, Eston, at around 6.50pm on Sunday, April 21.
Three people have been taken to hospital with injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening. A 19-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, a 34-year-old man, a 42-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.
They all remain in custody on Easter Monday. Details of what the seven men have been arrested on suspicion of have not been released at this time.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to reports of an altercation on William Street in Eston at around 6.50pm last night, Sunday, April 20. It was reported that two men were seen in possession of weapons.”
