About the Program
TAGDev 2.0 is a partnership between:
- The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM)
- Mastercard Foundation
- The Global Confederation of Higher Education Associations for Agricultural and Life Sciences (GCHERA)
- 12 leading African universities.
This second phase of the TAGDev initiative continues to focus on revolutionizing agricultural education across the continent by supporting universities and TVET institutions in producing skilled graduates who can lead innovation in agriculture and agri-food systems.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a young African under the age of 35
- Interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture or related fields
- Strongly encouraged to apply:
- Refugees
- Asylum seekers
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
- Persons with disabilities
- Women and girls.
